StudentCard was launched in 2002, and is New Zealand’s longest running and largest tertiary discount provider. StudentCard is an established privately owned and operated discount loyalty card, which offers substantial discounts from a broad selection of categories, from both local and national businesses.
The business model is simple:

A business (Deal Provider) offers a compelling and exclusive discount and / or added value benefit to StudentCard.
·
Tertiary students purchase a StudentCard for $20.00 or receive it free as part of a special promotion or partnership agreement.
·
Students obtain discounts upon presentation of the card (StudentCard) in person and/or online.
·
The card is valid for the calendar year of issue.

StudentCard works on an affinity model – this means we don’t charge you to become a deal provider. Instead deal providers offer discounts to StudentCard members which are over and above what they would normally provide to students who present a traditional Student ID Card.
