Who is eligible for the StudentCard 50% discount offer?

This offer is available to tertiary students with an active StudentCard membership

who are new NEON sign-ups, existing customers or returning customers.

How do I get the StudentCard 50% discount offer?

Students can log in to their StudentCard account and take the following steps:

• Select ‘NEON’ offer under the ‘Discounts’ section.
• Select ‘Redeem Online’ to receive a unique voucher code.
• Use the unique voucher code to sign up to a NEON Basic plan between 12:01AM Monday 9 February 2026 and 11:59PM Wednesday 31 March 2027 to receive your 50% discount offer for up to 12 months.

What plan does the discount apply to?

The 50% discount applies to NEON Basic plan for up to 12 months.

I’m on NEON Basic plan already. Can I use my voucher code now?

Yes. Apply the voucher code in your account by 11:59pm on 31 March 2027. The 50% discount offer will take effect from your next billing date.

I’m on NEON Standard plan. Can I use my voucher code?

Voucher code cannot be applied immediately. To redeem the voucher code for a Basic plan, you must cancel your current subscription and wait for the existing billing period to expire. Once the current subscription ends, you may purchase a new Basic plan and apply the voucher code by 11:59pm on 31 March 2027.

How do I apply the voucher code on NEON?

New Customers:

1. Go to neontv.co.nz/sign-up/account
2. Create your NEON account with your Email address and password
3. Agree to the NEON Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
4. Click ‘Create Account’
5. Add your unique voucher code and click ‘Choose a Plan’
6. Select ‘Basic with Ads’ plan and click ‘Get Basic Plan’
7. Complete the details page and click ‘Set Up Payment’
8. Enter Payment details and click ‘Complete Payment’
9. All done! You can now get stuck into the awesome content that NEON has to offer.

Existing Customers:

1. Go to neontv.co.nz
2. Log in’ to your NEON account with your Email address and password
3. Head to My Account (drop-down in top right corner)
4. Select ‘Plan and Payment’
5. Select ‘Add Voucher’ add voucher code and click ‘Redeem'

What if I cancel my plan during the 50% Discount Offer Period?

You may end your subscription at any time by cancelling on the Neon website. If you end your subscription in this way, you will be able to continue to use the subscription until any prepaid period expires, after which time your subscription will end.

What happens at the end of the 50% Discount Offer Period?

Once the StudentCard 50% Discount Offer Period of 12 months ends, your NEON

monthly subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly price in effect

at the time of renewal until cancelled by you.

Terms & Conditions

1. This offer provides tertiary students aged 18 or over with an active StudentCard membership with 50% discount on NEON Basic plan for up to 12 months from the date the voucher code is redeemed (the 50% Discount Offer Period). The discounted price is based on the NEON Basic plan price applicable at the time you redeem your voucher code.
2. One voucher per person and the voucher code must be redeemed during the period from 12:01AM Monday 9 February 2026 to 11:59PM Wednesday 31 March 2027.
3. Sky may require evidence of your eligibility and reserves the right to cancel your subscription if we become aware that you are not an active StudentCard member. If we cancel your plan in these circumstances, we will inform you in writing and will not refund any money that you may have paid.
4. Offers only applies to the NEON Basic plan and cannot be redeemed on any other plan.
5. If you are an existing NEON Basic plan subscriber, you can apply the voucher code to your current subscription, and the 50% discount will take effect from your next billing period. If you are an existing NEON Standard plan subscriber, you must cancel your current subscription and wait for the existing billing period to expire. Once the current subscription ends, you may purchase a new Basic plan and apply the voucher code by 11:59pm on 31 March 2027.
6. This offer does not apply to NEON movie rentals, which will incur an additional cost.
7. You may cancel your subscription at any time by cancelling on the NEON website. You will be able to continue to use the subscription until any billing period expires, after which time your subscription will end. If you cancel your NEON subscription during the 50% Discount Offer Period and later choose to resubscribe, the 50% discount will no longer apply and you will be charged the then current standard price.
8. Once the 50% Discount Offer Period ends, your NEON monthly subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly price in effect at the time of renewal until cancelled by you.
9. To use NEON, you will need an internet connection, a compatible device and New Zealand credit/debit card required.
10. Your usual Internet Service Provider charges apply.
11. The offer is not transferable or exchangeable and is not available in conjunction with any other offers.
12. To subscribe to NEON, you need to be located in New Zealand and be 18 years of age or older.
13. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw this offer in our reasonable discretion.

By accessing this offer, you acknowledge that StudentCard may share limited personal information (such as your name and contact details) with the relevant partner for the purposes of:

• Verifying your StudentCard membership and eligibility for the offer
• Enabling access to partner discounts or benefits
• Supporting promotional activity and campaign reporting

Partners may also collect and manage your information in accordance with their own privacy policies.
