Who is eligible for the StudentCard 50% discount offer?

This offer is available to tertiary students with an active StudentCard membership who are new Sky Sport Now sign-ups, existing customers or returning customers.

How do I get the StudentCard 50% discount offer?

Students can log in to their StudentCard account and take the following steps:

• Select ‘Sky Sport Now’ offer under the ‘Discounts’ section.
• Select ‘Redeem Online’ to receive a unique voucher code.
• Use the unique voucher code to sign up to a Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan between 12:01AM Monday 9 February 2026 and 11:59PM Wednesday 31 March 2027 to receive your 50% discount offer for up to 12 months.

What plan does the discount apply to?

The 50% discount applies to Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan for up to 12 months. 

Can I switch from my Sky Sport Now Premium Plan to Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan to take up this offer? 

Yes, you can downgrade to Sky Sport Now Month Pass and apply your voucher code by 11:59PM on 31 March 2027. The 50% discount offer will take effect from your next billing cycle.

How do I apply a voucher code on Sky Sport Now?

Voucher codes can only be redeemed via web, and cannot be redeemed on the Sky Sport Now Apple applications.

New Customers:

1. Go to the skysportnow.co.nz/signup
2. Create and account with your details
3. Agree to the Sky Sport Now Terms of Use and Privacy Policy
4. Select ‘Get Month Pass’
5. Enter your voucher code and click ‘Apply’
6. Once this code has been applied, select one of the payment options in the left box to continue your account creation with your voucher code applied.
7. Follow the remaining account creation steps.

Existing Customers:

1. Go to the Sky Sport Now Website
2. Click ‘Sign In’ at the top right of the page
3. Login to your account
4. Go to My Account > Subscriptions
5. If you do not have an existing subscription, select ‘Get Month Pass’ > ad the promo code > complete the purchase with your promo code applied.
6. If you have an existing Month Pass and your promo code is applicable to that subscription type, select the ‘Apply a Promo Code’ option in the box of the Month Pass and enter your promo code.
7. If you have a different existing Pass, select ‘Downgrade or Upgrade’ on the Month pass apply your promo code and complete the purchase of that pass.

What if I cancel my plan during the 50% Discount Offer Period?

You may end your subscription at any time by cancelling on Sky Sports Now website. If you end your subscription in this way, you will be able to continue to use the

subscription until any prepaid period expires, after which time your subscription will end.

What happens at the end of the 50% Discount Offer Period?

Once the StudentCard 50% Discount Offer Period of 12 months ends, your monthly subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly price in effect at the time of renewal until cancelled by you.

Terms & Conditions

1. This offer provides tertiary students aged 18 or over with an active StudentCard membership with 50% discount on Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan for up to 12 months from the date the voucher code is redeemed (the 50% Discount Offer Period). The discounted price is based on the Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan price applicable at the time you redeem your voucher code.
2. One voucher per person and the voucher code must be redeemed during the period from 12:01AM Monday 9 February 2026 to 11:59PM Wednesday 31 March 2027.
3. Sky may require evidence of your eligibility and reserves the right to cancel your subscription if we become aware that you are not a student. If we cancel your plan in these circumstances, we will inform you in writing and will not refund any money that you may have paid.
4. Offers only applies to the Sky Sport Now Month Pass plan and cannot be redeemed on any other plan.
5. If you are an existing Sky Sport Now Month Pass customer, you can apply the voucher code to your current subscription, and the 50% discount will take effect from your next billing period. If you are on an Annual Pass, Sky Sport Now x Neon Bundle Pass, or Premium Month Pass, you can downgrade to a Sky Sport Now Month Pass and apply the voucher code. This will take effect from your next billing period. If you are on a Day Pass, you can upgrade to a Month Pass with a voucher code with immediate effect, but you will not receive a refund for the Day Pass.
6. This offer does not apply to Sky Sport Now PPV, which will incur an additional cost.
7. You may cancel your subscription at any time by cancelling on Sky Sport Now website. You will be able to continue to use the subscription until any prepaid period expires, after which time your subscription will end. If you cancel your Sky Sport Now subscription during the 50% Discount Offer Period and later choose to resubscribe, the 50% discount will no longer apply and you will be charged the then current standard price.
8. Once the 50% Discount Offer Period ends, your Sky Sport Now monthly subscription will automatically renew at the standard monthly price in effect at the time of renewal until cancelled by you.
9. To use Sky Sport Now, you will need an internet connection, a compatible device and New Zealand credit/debit card required.
10. Your usual Internet Service Provider charges apply.
11. The offer is not transferable or exchangeable and is not available in conjunction with any other offers.
12. To subscribe to Sky Sport Now, you need to be located in New Zealand and be 18 years of age or older.
13. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw this offer in our reasonable discretion.

By accessing this offer, you acknowledge that StudentCard may share limited personal information (such as your name and contact details) with the relevant partner for the purposes of:
