Can I get a StudentCard?
Yes - We have a card for all types of Students

If you already have a promo code make sure you use this when you sign up online.
If StudentCard is your ID card then it will be issued to you by your Campus, please check with them as to when it will be issued.
Is my ID a StudentCard?
Whats the cost?
Membership normally costs $20 for one year, $35 for 2 years or $45 for 3 years, but if StudentCard is your
ID card
then you are already sorted.
How many times can I use the card?
As many times as you like, the more you use it the more you save!
How much can I save?
On average our members tell us that they save $284.10 per year, some more, some less
When does my card expire?
Membership expires on 31st March of the following year of issue or the year after that if you have a 2 year card. Expiry is shown on the back of the card.
How does StudentCard get involved with Campus Life?
StudentCard has a network of Student activators who are smart cookies on Campus who have the fun job of letting students know about the discounts, competitions and fun stuff available and happening on their campus, look them up.
Help I can’t log in to my account!
If you have signed up for StudentCard you will have used an email address and set a password as part of your profile. Use this email address and password to login.
If StudentCard is your ID, then you will need to activate your card in order to set up your profile with us before you can log in.
Joining Issues
My promo code is not recognised
My Campus is not listed
I went away and the website timed out.
To continue where you left off, just start the join process again.
Alternatively we will email within a few hours with a link to continue
When will I receive my card?
If you signed up online then we will send your card out to you within 10 days, unless you have signed up under the AUSA or AUTSA 2 for 1 membership special offer which is an app based membership (i.e. no card will be sent), sometimes the post is a bit slow, so let us know if its dragging on.
If you joined via the App you will have access to your virtual card immediately. App based memberships like AUSA or AUTSA can order a physical card by ordering a reprint from the app or via our website in the logged in area.
You can access the discounts immediately via the app or microsite.
Refund policy
StudentCard has a no refund policy.
My email address is already in use!
Our membership platform requires a signup email address to be unique, if you receive an error about your email address already in use then its likely we already hold a record for you with this email address.
Contact us to sort this out, or if you are renewing your membership, make sure you take the “renew my card” option instead of just “joining now” again.
I am having trouble with the app
Oh no – sometimes a reinstall of the app seems to reset things, otherwise let us know.
Do I need to provide a Photo?
A photo is nice, but you can also use your Fav avatar, you will be asked for this during the join process.
ID Cards
How do I know if StudentCard is my ID?
Look on the back of your ID Card, if it is a StudentCard it will have the “StudentCard” Logo on the back, and it will have an expiry date of 31/3/xx

Activate your card if you want us to contact you about new comps and discounts
The information on my ID is incorrect
Please contact your campus and advise them of the issue, they will organise a replacement card with the correct information.
Help - I lost my card!
If StudentCard is your ID Card, please contact your campus and request a replacement, or if you have activated your ID card, you can order a replacement from our website or our App. Replacement cards cost $8 and will be sent to your campus.
If StudentCard is not your ID Card, then you can order a replacement card, from our website or our App. Replacement cards cost $8 and will be posted out to you.
Discount Issues
I couldn’t redeem a discount
Unfortunately that can happen from time to time, and is usually the result of new staff and/or poor training.
Let us know
the details of when and where it happened and we will contact the Discount Partner and ensure it does not happen again.
Sometimes if you show the staff member the deal in the app or microsite it will jog their memory!
What do I do with a voucher?
Check the terms and conditions of the discount; generally the voucher contains a promo code, which can be used in the cart of the discount partner online to apply our members discount.

What information is collected?
During the Buy a card or Register My ID processes we collect general contact information which is necessary to process your card and despatch it to you. This includes your Name, email address, phone number, physical address, your institution you are enrolled with and your Student ID as proof of your enrolment.
We also collect specific demographic information such as your living status
What do you do with my information?
Firstly we use the information provided by members to try to source the best deals for students, as we are able to provide potential partners with an overview of the demographic composition of our membership.
Secondly, we use the information you provide to better tailor information we communicate to you. Eg sending Christchurch only offers and discounts to Students in Wellington is not overly helpful, so it helps us avoid over sharing!
Will you give my details away to anyone?
We will never share or sell any of the information you give us without your consent. If StudentCard is your ID then your Institution will have access to your information as you enter it from our "Register my ID" process.
